Following Mpanza's legacy, Ephraim Tshabalala assumed the mantle of leadership, steering SofaSonke Party through turbulent times. Tshabalala's presidency saw significant strides in education, healthcare, and economic development, cementing the party's reputation as a force for positive change.
Now, in 2024, SofaSonke Party rises once again, rejuvenated by the passion and dedication of Gideon Mpanza, the great-grandson of James Mpanza. With a deep reverence for his ancestor's principles, Gideon pledges to continue the fight for equality, justice, and progress. As the party enters this new chapter, it remains steadfast in its commitment to building a brighter future for all South Africans."
